Writer, and Editor
About
I currently work as a video descriptor for Gracenote where I spend the day tagging and cataloging film and tv shows for a wide rang of streaming services. I also work as a part time editor and writer for Screen Speck. Previously, I worked as an editorial assistant for the lifestyle magazine Living Safer. I have a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and an M.A. in Humanities and Cultural Studies with a concentration in Film Studies and New Media Studies from the University of South Florida. I hope to work in publishing and someday even finish my own novel.
Though this website is focused on books of all kinds, I also have a deep interest in other forms of media such as video games, film, and tv and the blog posts reflect that. I love video games, particularly the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which I chose as the main subject for my master’s thesis. Though I have many favorite book series, some of my favorites are probably The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater followed closely by The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher and Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.
